Careers
CoreOne is an engineering company from Vilnius. We study large businesses, bring order to their data, automate their work and move companies to new systems. We work with different clients; every day we work with tools and AI agents.
Vilnius or remote from any EU country. Full time.
Master Data Engineer
You are responsible for order in clients' master data — products, counterparties, locations, people, contracts — in our database and with our tools: Ordo, Merx, Messor and the kit set.
What you will do
- Build and maintain the master data model in PostgreSQL: one reference list across several accounting systems, value history, a source for every record.
- Merge duplicates and match records from different sources with rules and models: probabilistic matching, classification, extracting attributes from text.
- Set data quality rules and run the stewards' queue in Ordo: what the machine decides itself, what it hands to a person, how the result is measured.
- Run scheduled loads from accounting systems, files and websites with checks, and reconcile with the source after every load.
- Measure the effect: how many duplicates, gaps and errors are gone and what that gave the company in money.
Who we are looking for
- Experience managing master data in a large company: reference lists, matching, stewardship, data quality.
- Confident SQL and Python; PostgreSQL in daily work, load orchestration (Prefect, Airflow or similar).
- Matching and cleaning tools (Splink, dedupe or similar) and a habit of measuring accuracy.
- Language models as a working tool: classification, extraction, reconciliation — with measured quality, not by eye.
- Russian or English for work; Lithuanian and Bulgarian are a plus.
Software Engineer, applications
You keep our programs running and make them more resilient. Code is written by people and by AI agents; you make sure it works in production.
What you will do
- Investigate defects and failures in our applications: web in TypeScript and Next.js, services in Python, PostgreSQL.
- Make programs resilient: tests, error monitoring, checks before release, deployment from main to the machines.
- Review and correct code written by AI agents: review, boundaries, checks, so that a change does not break its neighbors.
- Maintain shared parts — login, search, design, and model kits — so that an edit in a kit reaches all programs.
- Keep infrastructure as code: Ansible, containers, CI in GitHub.
Who we are looking for
- Five or more years building web applications and services; TypeScript and Python in production, PostgreSQL.
- Experience stabilizing live systems: you fixed what kept failing and made sure it stopped failing.
- A habit of checks: tests, CI, review, error monitoring.
- The ability to work with AI agents as a tool: set the task, verify the result, never take it on trust.
- Russian or English for work.
